Have a local Walgreens? They’re offering free ink refills today only (April 2nd, 2008). Click on the link to see the brands for which it’s good, and to print out your coupon. Also, be aware that if you live in Hawaii your free ink day isn’t until April 7th. (Don’t ask me why. I have no idea. Is tomorrow some other sort of special day in Hawaii?)

There seems to be a little bit of irony here – you have to print out a coupon to get free ink. (Because, you know, if you were out of ink…)

I was unsure if I had enough left to print too! Of course, my husband obliviously ran out the door as I was printing the coupon and calling out to him that I needed him to get the free ink while he was out, stinker. The gas to go get it on a separate trip would probably cost as much as we’d save, now. >:-(
The coupon was also in the Walgreens insert in the Sunday newspaper (for those of you who don’t have any ink left). In most Walgreens, copies of the weekly advertisement are available in a display near the front of the store.
Just as a heads up…be prepared to wait up to a week to get your ink cartridge back!
I acually just dropped mine off…I got one filled back in September when they had a free refill too!! I love free!!
They said it would be ready for pick-up today at 3pm. (About 3 hours after I dropped it off…guess my store is not getting many refills??!
Thanks for saving me $10!!! I turned mine in around 7 tonight and it will be ready Friday morning. Not too terribly long, I guess – especially since I waited until the end of the day.
