I think I’ve mentioned here that over Christmas break I finally had a chance to play on a wii, and while I claim to have enjoyed the bowling the most, the reality is that I’m a total rocker wannabe. I loved Guitar Hero.
Should I ever get my hands on a wii, I’m buying Guitar Hero, pronto.
Already have a wii? Check it out: Amazon has the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock bundle for $74.99 with free shipping. It’s hardly bargain-basement pricing, but it’s the cheapest I’ve seen by $10 or so. And it’s the most fun you can have with a little plastic guitar, I swear.
I don’t think I’ve seen my husband since our adult son gave that to him last Hanukkah…
By hubby really enjoys it as well, on his XBOX. We are not yet the proud owners of Wii. Let me know if you find any deals on the rock band set. I played that at a friends, what a blast that was!
We LOVE GH3!!! But even more than that we LOVE Rock Band!! It’s not out for the Wii yet but we have a 360.
My 2 y/o son plays and can actually finish a few songs. If he hears a guitar solo on the radio he asks “that’s a “tar song” momma?”
I love it lol I’m glad you do too!!

My husband got me Guitar Hero 3 for Christmas. I suck at it though. How much practice does it take? I wanna love it…
Oh, thank you, Mir!!! I was already planning to buy this in the next week or so for my husband’s birthday, and this is $25 dollars less than I saw it for at Best Buy, though I hadn’t price-shopped yet.
You are fabulous! and pretty.
I LOVE playing GH3 with my boys, that price is definitely cheaper than I got our bundle for.
If you ever find the guitar ONLY, let me know. We need a second guitar for battles!!
I just placed the order for my son’s birthday – thanks for saving us money on his gift!
OOH, we have Rock Band and it is sooo much more fun that Guitar Hero. The guitar part is just as cool but you get to add in a mike and drum-set. Our whole family gets to play together (DH on drums, me on bass, and 5 year old singing). It is a RIOT to hear a 5 year old screaming out the words to some weird songs. I laugh so hard it is hard to play.
