My favorite kind of sale is when the stuff already on sale gets additionally marked down. For one thing, everything is incredibly cheap; for another, I sort of feel like I’m getting a double-deal. Anyway. Right now at Jos. A. Bank, anything that’s left in their clearance section is an additional 50% off, through August 2nd, 2008. You’ll also get free 2-day shipping on your $175+ order, automatically.
My experience with these sales is that sizes and colors are limited, so you’ll need some patience… but if you take the time, you’ll likely be rewarded with some awesome deals. (And a well-dressed husband. I do like me a cute man in a suit.)
I just wanted to post a review on the Timothy’s coffee deal you posted from Amazon about a week and a half ago. I used it with a Senseo coffee machine I found out about from here as well. My morning coffee is 100 percent Want Not. 🙂 Anyway, the coffee is delicious and much cheaper. I followed the reviewers’ instructions to wet the pod first, which took two seconds and it worked perfectly. The coffee is a little bit weaker than the Senseo coffee, but that is fine for me. The Senseo pods are a little too strong for me. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for cheaper pods.
For a laugh for you, I read the title of this quickly and then skimmed the article below thinking it didn’t pertain to me but I wanted to see what the deal was anyway and I got to the Jos A. Bank link and blinked a few times and though “Those are some pretty sophisticated DIAPER deals if they’re coming from THAT store” only to go back and re-read the title correctly and then think “wendy, you are a doofus.”
But the image of plaid covered diapers and baby smoking jackets and little toddlers going “it’s elementary, my dear watson” are going to be stuck in my head for a while.
