(You know, I think that sounded more festive and less awkward in my head….)

Sometimes I think that I should get a life and stop looking forward to the Amazon Friday Sale quite so much, but then I remember that the Friday Sale is awesome and I’m okay with it. Let’s see what goodies we have today….

This is a nice price for this Audiovox portable DVD player, though I can’t seem to find any reviews on it.

Raaaaawr! (I don’t know that I’d be brave enough to wear those in public. But with a sensible black suit or something? Killer.)

Now, you know I rarely pay even $20 for kids’ shoes, but for these I’d actually be tempted. So cute.

I never hopped on the gladiator sandal trend, but here you go, Spartacus.

Dyson! (Just in case you regret not snagging one on the cheap, last week. Sure, it’s a refurb, but for 61% off how can you argue?) If you want to go smaller (or purpler!), the refurb DC07 is half off, too.

Got allergies? Get hypoallergenic pillows.

Do you (or does someone you love) collect Spode? If so, this set of plates might pique your interest. (I really don’t know anything about Spode, other than that I suspect it’s made by magical Oompah Loompahs inside a volcano, based upon the regular prices….)

How about a KitchenAid mixer for under $150?

Apparently the Healthy Swinger is only half as dirty as it sounds—it’s exercise for lazy people. (Included: Swivel Disc! Woo!)

Get a salon quality tourmaline hair straightener for half price. I would totally get one, except it doesn’t some with someone to do the straightening for me. Sheesh.

Don’t forget about the Friday Five—I’m going to overlook the Miley Cyrus album being offered and focus instead on Louis Armstrong, Sigur Ross, and James Taylor.

Psssst! Extra bonus: Now that you have Prime (you do have Prime, right?), even if you’re not buying anything else, you’ll want to snag a couple of these Mega Blocks dragons for the gift closet. At 70% off, you can’t go wrong.

Have a great Friday, everyone!

  1. Those shoes are fab. I may need to have those.

  2. I wouldn’t have to worry about going out in public with those shoes on, as my husband would lustfully attack me before I ever made it out the door.

  3. The sandal is a Daisy! Must have.
Oh, wait. I don’t wear sandals. Darn.
