I think I’d be interested in the one your reader has for sale. Refresh my memory though, you don’t have to dismantle your dashboard to install this do you? Hubby would definitely use it but he’s not of the handy variety- moreso the nerdy…

I’ll probably be selling the one I bought from buy.com too, unless the install is easier than it looks from the pile of cables in the box. I’m nerdy and not at all afraid of wiring, but this looks like way more work than the description makes it sound.
Claire, it’s definitely not something you can take out of the box and start using right away. There are cables to connect to your car’s electrical system and radio, and a box that needs to be screwed on somewhere too. Either that or you can pay someplace $200 to install it for you.
this is not a good promo, but ours is still in the box too. And now hubby has lost is ipod… there is no hope for us.

My hubby hooked mine up the weekend that I got mine (with the $18 deal) and yes he did have to pull my radio out to install all the wires. I really like it though, I think I got a great deal!
I appreciate you posting this again Mir. I had bought one already during one of the previous posts and bought a 2nd one today. We have auxiliary inputs on the radios in both vehicles. Based on the reviews, if you have that, it’s pretty much seamless setup. I’m very excited to give this to my hubby for Christmas. Thanks again for keeping us up to date with all the deals!
