I was in the area of our local mall last weekend. Not even at the mall itself, just stuck in the traffic. Ack! You wouldn’t know there’s a recession on by the number of cars in the traffic jam.
(Although I learned later that a lot of people were just there to window shop; actual sales are still way down.)
