I should share my Wii story. I’m sure you’d LOVE hearing it! LOL Last Christmas, I decided WE needed a Wii…but I’d heard all the stories of people waiting for hours in the cold for stores to open, only to miss out because the store didn’t have any or enough for everyone waiting. So, I decided to buy one on ebay…and, never having even LOOKED at them, I had NO idea how much they retailed for, but all of the Wiis I saw sell on ebay were going for over $500…so, I thought I’d found SUCH a good deal with *I* found one on ebay for just under $500 shipped WITH the extra controller/Wii Sports game. I figured they probably sold for around $400. DUH!!!!! I’m sure I don’t need to say more about how absolutely stupid *I* felt, after paying almost TWICE the retail price for ours. The only consolation is how much we have all enjoyed it, over the past year. And, of course, the fact that I didn’t have to get up at 5AM and wait in the rain/cold to *try* to get one. 😉
That’s my “stupid human” story of the day.

I finally got to order one Monday (12/1) and of course did the free super saver shipping – it was delivered the next day! I guess Amazon doesn’t keep them long!

Toys R Us .com had a Wii bundles earlier today for $299

Went into Target Friday night at 10:00pm, asked if they had one, low and behold their shipment just came in at 9:00pm!
Got the extra controller too!
Wrapping it up for DH for Christmas….

I went to Costco the other day and they had a bunch of them – like it was no big deal. I should have bought one and sold it on eBay like these other jerks.
