We’ve entered that magical time when I need to start actively apologizing to my family for all the time I spend online, scoping out the Amazon deals. There are cinnamon rolls in the oven right now—I suspect they’ll forgive me.

The Settlers of Catan is down to $19.99 (42% off), and this is one of those hardly-ever-goes-on-sale sorts of things. This is also a critically acclaimed game (for ages 10+) I keep hearing people rave about.
Matchbox Mega Rig Space Shuttle is another one where the price has been bouncing all around. This morning it’s $29.99; only 33% off, but a highly-rated set.
ThinkFun Zingo is down to $7.99 (50% off).
Hey, when Travel Scrabble is just $4.99, you’re in stocking-stuffer territory. Just sayin’.

Finding all of the December toy deals at Amazon is something of a sickness, I know. But I’m going to get better very soon. Honest. Because eventually, it’ll be January…..

I am jumping all over the Settlers of Catan game – I’ve wanted it for hubs for a long time. I’m really wishing I had Prime now, though – I’ve had to add a couple of things that I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise for the free shipping. (They’re of MY wishlist, though, so I can’t complain too much.)

Settlers is really fun and has provided my husband’s family and me with hours of holiday activity. One of the nice things about it is that kids (over about 10) and adults can enjoy it together.
Settlers is awesome. My cousins and I have been playing it since about age 14 (21 now). It’s one of those games that is good for a variety of ages.
Sadly for YOU, I think retailers may be scrambling for more money this January with lots of post-holiday sales!
Another Amazon deal: I just found the holiday barbie at Amazon for 22.99 (down from 49.99). Seems to be the best price out there.

I was about to buy the Settlers, but then I noticed that it was featured in the Lightening deals for 14.99! I am glad I noticed it there since I was going to buy it anyway. Twenty dollars is a fantastic price, but fifteen is even more so.
Zingo is a great game for the younger set and I’ve never seen it on sale in stores.
