Time for your daily Amazon toy update

My daughter asked me the other day to tell her what I got her brother for Christmas. I told her socks and underwear. She asked what else, and I feigned surprised that she thought he needed more than that. Eventually she became completely frustrated with me, but not before I convinced her that no one is getting any toys this year.

It’s fun being mean!

So here’s some big toy markdowns at Amazon you may want to check out, even if you—like me—“aren’t buying any toys.” Hee.

Today’s video games deals include a slew of popular titles for the Wii. They’ve even got the new Raving Rabbids game for $32.98. (Anyone played that one yet? I love me some Raving Rabbids.)

Leapfrog Fridge Words Magnetic Word Builder is down to $9.99 (64% off)
LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Alphabet Set is $8.99 (59% off)
Martian Matter Mega Set is $8.99 (70% off)
Fisher-Price Shake ‘n Go Crash-Ups Speedway is $20.99 (70% off)
Fisher-Price Elmo’s Restaurant for $39.99 (61% off, and the savings on this one, given the free shipping, is incredible)

No matter what you buy, I recommend telling your kids there will be no toys this year. It’s entertaining.

  1. You are pretty, but EVIL! 😉 I gave in and ordered Raving Rabbids. It uses the balance board and said something about having a game you can play with your butt. LOL

  2. I ordered TV party too, and have my fingers crossed that my dad comes through with a Wii Fit for me. Who wouldn’t want to play a video game with his or her own butt? Communists, that’s who.

  3. Arrgh.. I bought that Shake & Go racetrack in August for $50. I did get the refrigerator phonics for cheap! I guess I’ll put them away for a birthday present 🙂 Thanks!

  4. What 13-year-old boy wouldn’t love playing a video game with his butt? I’m sure my nephew will be loving this. Thanks Mir!

  5. For their birthdays, we always wrap up socks or underwear and tell them that we got them “only one present but it’s really special and we know they really want it.” We hide the toys…it’s fun to torture them that way.

  6. So the recommended age is 10+. Question….would you let YOUR ten year old play?

  7. Would you please stop posting things I bought already from Amazon for more money? I should have just waited until the last minute, sheesh.

  8. Thanks for the great deals, Mir. I just bought two Leapfrog Fridge Words Magnetic Word Builder for $9.99. What a steal! I figure they will make great gift closet items for the 4-6 year old set.

I’ve never stocked my gift closet – thank you, oh pretty one for helping me learn.

  9. Drat! Both Leapfrog items are now back up there. But, good thing, since I really need to wrap up my shopping! But, um, keep posting. Heh.
