Well, we still have no electricity. But we do have… my husband’s office! With electricity! And heat! So modern, so convenient!
Personally, I feel like shopping for nothing right now, except maybe food, seeing as how I’ll be throwing away the contents of my refrigerator when we go back home. And then, hopefully (eventually?), power will be restored and we’ll be hungry.
So now that I’m hogging my husband’s desk, here, I see that the February grocery clearance at Amazon is actually going on until March 6th. ugh! Sounds like Atlanta’s a mess! Charlotte got snow and as usual there were accidents all up and down I-85 and 77, but thankfully most of us still have power. Stay warm! We’ll all survive without a few bargains today :D!
If it’s that cold outside, put the food from your fridge out on the porch. You might accidentally freeze your milk, but you might be able to salvage something.
We were sans electricity for 3 days, didn’t open the fridge or freezer, and only lost some ice cream. There’s hope for you yet.
Thanks Mir! We just returned from a trip to Disney World to find that our fridge died while we were gone…ugh! Hope your pioneer days without power weren’t too bad:)
