Hey—good news! Our power is back on! And there was much rejoicing!
Unfortunately, school is canceled. Again.
And so, for the umpty-billionth time, I’m declaring my love for the Nintendo Wii (now back in stock at Amazon), as it’s the only thing enabling me to actually work today without having to worry about my cabin-fevered children killing each other.
Honestly, I don’t know why we waited so long to get one. (And I’m not just saying that because I’m getting pretty good at Mario Kart.)
Promise to let us know if Mario Kart ever goes on a good sale, okay? My son can’t stop talking about it.

I officially won the best wife award this Valentine’s Day. My hubby’s gift was a Wii! :o)
I picked up the Raving Rabbids 2-for-1 special you mentioned awhile back, and we have been playing it quite a bit, especially this past weekend and snow days. I got my in-laws hooked on it, and they bought it for themselves the day after they got home from visiting us.
Just ordered the Mario Kart that comes with a “free Wii wheel” for 49.99 at Amazon, shipped… I’ve always said I don’t like racing games, but this one, from all the reviews, is “not your typical racing game!” … my son likes it, and I’m sure I’ll get hooked too!
