Not that I’m bitter, or anything

First Eddie Bauer discontinued my favorite fit of pants. Sure, it was nice, in the beginning, because I got a few pairs on clearance. I’ll admit I appreciated that. But then they were gone. Alas.

Then, I clicked over there today and promptly fell in love with a $99 pair of shoes. I do not buy $99 shoes. And of course they’re never going to go on sale for what I’m willing to pay. So now I’m grumpy.

(Eddie’s like that guy you sort of dated in high school, who said things like, “Yeah, I can see why you’re into me. But when my friends are around, I’m gonna have to ignore you. You understand.” Or maybe that’s just me.)

Anyway, if you’re not feeling rejected by Eddie right now, or, alternatively, if you want to get me those shoes (ha!), feel free to use coupon code SPRRESHS9 for 20% off regular and sale items (it doesn’t work on clearance prices). I’m sure you two will be very happy together.

Hmph.

  1. I haven’t tried it, so I don’t know if it’ll work. But you can sign up for the Eddie Bauer Friends program (which looks to be free) and save 20% on today’s purchase. I wonder if you can stack the coupon code and the Friends 20% off.

  2. I’m with you on my love-hate relationship of Eddie… LOVE the stuff, hate the prices.

  3. Eddie is so out of my league. I love him. But I can’t afford him.

  4. When did Eddie get so expensive. When I was a poor college student I could afford Eddie, now I can barely afford anything in the outlet store!

  5. HYSTERICAL POST! I loved it. You may be bitter but you brought a smile to my face.

  6. ok, what shoes did you love? Inquiring minds, you know. 🙂
