Remember back when Bill Gates (famously, or infamously, at this point) said that 640K of memory would be enough for anyone? Okay, maybe you’re too young to remember that (you whippersnappers! get off my lawn!), but I remember. At least, I think I remember. Wait. Who are you, again?
Anyway. I just like to think about that stuff when I find things like a 1 Terabyte external hard drive for $94.99 shipped.

Yeah thats nice. I just got a Seagate 1.5 TB hard drive from new egg for $130 that came in last night. Turns out my iTunes addiction surpassed my 275 GB storage capacity. (In my defense we don’t have a tv so everything we watch is online) Anyway New Egg is awesome, great service, usually free 3 day shipping. I think we’ve ordered from them at least a dozen times. But yeah I remember the first time I filled a hard drive. It was in college, had 2 GB of space. The day I found Kazaa (music file sharing program) to my surprise I filled it up and had to call my dad to find out what to do. And when we bought our first 100 GB drive I couldn’t imagine how we’d use it all up. (pictures and music) Then we started downloading TV and Movies and the rest is history.
I’m holding out for … PRETTY and a lot of space. There are some beautiful external hard drives. This is a good deal though!

Dang, sold out. I’ve been waiting for a good sale on these. But it seems that they go on sale every couple of weeks. I also need to get a high-speed SD card for my camera. Anyone see a good deal on those?
