Yes, LEGO Space Skulls

At first look, when I saw this LEGO Space Skulls set, I thought it was the dumbest thing I’d ever seen.

But then I found myself oddly intrigued. And now I’m trying to figure out if I can justify spending $19.98 (down from $100!) on it to put in the gift closet. Because it’s LEGO! And it’s skulls! Throw a fart joke in there and it’s every boy’s dream come true!

Do note that this is a 10+ set, so it’s not for the little guys. But it’s an exclusive user-designed set, and nearly 1,000 pieces, so perfectly awesome for giving to your favorite grown-up LEGO buff as well as a big kid.

Shipping is $5. Still, it arrives at your door for 25% of the original price. (Plus, did I mention the skulls…?)

  1. Hm. Definitely tempting, but I decided there are some other Lego sets my husband would rather have for $25.

    Veeeery tempted, though!

  2. Thanks Mir!! Another good Lego score, thanks to you!

  3. Awesome. My 13 yr. is going to love this and I love that he still plays with Legos.

  4. I bought it for my 9 yr old at Christmas and paid $30. He hasn’t touched it yet. oh well, maybe he will grow into it.

  5. Excellent! Just picked it up for my older son, birthday in April!

  6. Okay, for $20 I’ll finally bite! My 4 1/2 yr old is completely gaga for anything Lego; I think we already own 1M pieces already. The question will be when to give it to him.
