A nice long Friday

My children had early dismissal several days this week. It was with no small measure of glee that I shoved them out the door this morning, knowing they’d be gone the entire day. Is that wrong? Don’t answer that.

Really, I was just overcome with excitement about the Amazon Friday Sale. Honest. Stop looking at me that way.

Of course, my daughter will never be old enough to go to a spring dance (ahem), but if she was, I bet she’d love this little dress. And then we could have a fight about whether or not she should wear a cardigan over it. Yay!

I don’t have this Oster convection toaster oven, but I have one a lot like it, and I don’t know how I ever lived without it. I love the convection oven more than my microwave. To get an Oster for $75 shipped seems like a great deal, too.

Get a professional quality Anolon cookware set for $180 shipped. It kind of makes me wish I needed to replace all of my pots and pans, instead of just a few pieces.

These Egyptian cotton towels have mixed reviews, but for that price ($20.99 for a set of 6) I might chance it.

Wishing you’d picked up more Numi’s Flowering Tea sets around the holidays? Here’s your chance! They’re $12.50 today.

Oh, how I love Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. With Subscribe & Save, these come out to $16.74 shipped for 24 (about $.70 apiece). That’s cheaper than I can buy them in the store, and as long as I have children in the house, I will have a Magic Eraser stash. (Can I get an “Amen!”?)

Get 700 eco wipes for baby for $18.69 shipped with Subscribe & Save. It’s been a long time since I bought wipes, so I’m not sure if that’s a good deal or not, but it seems like it might be.

Don’t forget to check out today’s Friday Five, five MP3 album downloads for just $5 each. Today they’ve got a good batch of Girl Power going on—Ella Fitzgerald is up there with Madonna. That makes me laugh, for some reason.

Here’s to a great Friday!

  1. AMEN on the Magic Erasers! 🙂

  2. I’ve never done the Subscribe & Save… but we use those magic erasers and this seemed like too good of a deal to pass up. Thanks!

  3. Magic Erasers are the most awesome invention EVER!!! They should send you home from the hospital with some after you have a baby, along with the formula samples and parenting magazines. 🙂
