Dine out, but hold the guilt

It’s that time again—through June 25th, 2009, you can save 80% off your purchase at Restaurant.com. A $25 dining certificate—normally a bargain at $10—will now cost you just $2 when you use coupon code DISH. If you could spend $2 for $25 worth of fine dining, why would you ever pay full price again?

If you’ve checked them out in the past and not been thrilled with the selection of restaurants in your area, remember to check back periodically. Every time they have a coupon I plug in my zip code, and half the time there’s a new restaurant available. I’m pretty sure they’re taking over the world.

  1. Y’know, I see these coupons every time you post them and I never actually head over to the site to see what they have available. Today, I did and was pleasantly surprised by some of the restaurants they listed. My husband was surprised too, so we purchased a gift certificate for a nice restaurant in town to be used for an upcoming date night and one for our favorite breakfast spot. So, thanks.

  2. I can’t for the life of me figure out how this company manages to stay in business! I have yet to pay full price for a single certificate and we take these with us every time we eat out now. We are a family of 5 and we manage to eat out for around $25 at some of our favorite places. Such a good deal!

  3. OMG this is awesome!!! I am having a fundraiser at the end of August and I just bought 5 of these for the raffle baskets that i am going to be raffling off for my bbq for breast cancer.

  4. During the last 80% deal, I got lucky – a new, decent restaurant had just popped up on the site, and it was mine, all MINE! And I got all the teacher gifts in one fell swoop. 😉

  5. Has anyone had any problems using these certificates?? I am afraid to buy them.
