Been on the fence about buying an Entertainment book? Unsure if you’ll really use enough of the coupons to come out ahead?

We’re halfway through 2009, and now’s the time to take a test spin: For the rest of the month, you can buy any Entertainment Book for just $7.99. There are (amongst other things) generally buy 1 movie ticket, get 1 free coupons in there—so pick up your book, go to the movies once, and voila, it’s paid for itself already. (Well, shipping is $5/book I stand corrected; shipping may be as low as just a buck or two. Still a great deal, but you may have to go to the movies twice. Heh.) But you’ll use more than that, trust me. I’m always amazed at what I find in those little books.

This is a great way to test out Entertainment and decide if you want to buy a book for next year.

  1. Shipping was only $1.99 to Minneapolis – $10 for an entertainment book? I can’t pass that up.

  2. Same to Denver. I also couldn’t resist!

  3. I wish they still had the monthly Kroger coupons. 10-20 percent off total purchase. My atl did not have them this year. 🙁

  4. What’s the expiration date on the coupons? End of year?

  5. Thanks for the tip! I just bought it and it was under $10 with shipping. Yay for movies and whatever else!
