I love the “digital age” as much as the next person, but for some strange reason my kids’ grandparents aren’t impressed with all the photos of my precious offspring which we lovingly store… on the computer. They want actual prints. (Luddites, all of them!) And I feel like ordering actual prints is laborious; not because it actually is, but because I’m incredibly lazy.

Today (Thursday, August 20th, 2009) only, you can order 20 free prints from Walgreens with coupon code 20FREE4ME. It’s fast, it’s easy, and—yeah, baby—it’s free.

And it’ll make the grandparents happy.

  1. Ah, but I love my childhood memories of going through the lovingly put-together-and-labeled family photo albums. They’re probably the only reason I even REMEMBER my childhood.

Then again, the last time I updated a physical photo album myself was around 1993. 😉

  2. Thanks! Rather than feeding myself and getting ready for the day, I read this and spent the last bit of time getting my pictures done!

  3. My grandparents were given a digital picture frame last Christmas, but don’t have a computer, so visitors just update the memory card with a laptop.

However, my aunt set up an account for them so that we can go online and place an order for prints at a store near them (across the province). They have to pay when they pick up, but the prints are only about $0.15 each, so its a good way for them to get quick pictures of their great-grandchildren.

  4. Sweet! Thank you!

  5. Thanks!

  6. Mir, this is AWESOME. I have a new baby, I have a stack of about 20 prints to send to grandparents afar. YAY!

  7. I just did this one. And when I checked out they have another code where you get 50 4×6 prints for $5. Additional prints are 10 cents a piece. This actually would have been a better deal for me as I got 64 prints.

And tomorrow there will be a photobook sale:
    the code is PHOTOBOOK
50% off the everyday photo book

  8. excellent just got mine thanks!

  9. Huzzah!
