So, it appears that I’m going to live. But you’d better believe I’m eating about a billion milligrams of vitamin C every morning in a desperate attempt to boost my immune system. (Seriously, if I’m getting knocked flat with something flu-like in August, I fear I’m in for a very long cold and flu season this year.)
While stocking up on my favorite supplements at Drugstore.com, I discovered two awesome things. First, the Buy One, Get One Free on Vitamins promo is going on right now, so it’s a great time to stock up.
Second, remember when they used to have a Penny Item every day? It’s back! Until Friday, anyway. Limit one penny item per order, but still—one penny! Hard to beat, particularly if you’re already there stocking up on vitamins.
Puritan’s Pride is also having a vitamins sale, buy one get two free. I don’t know how the prices compare to drugstore.com though. I use Puritan’s Pride to get Vitamin E for my horse, he thinks the gel capsules made for humans are treats, much better than that stuff made for horses!
