A big bundle for big charity

If only you could get a wicked deal on something and have the money you spent go to a great cause. Pipe dream? Nope, that’s TheBigBundle, $700 worth of goods and services for just $29.99, with every penny spent going to the American Cancer Society.

That’s a pretty killer deal (click through to see what you get—everything from gift cards for pizza to premium software), but I think we can make it better. Use coupon code WANTNOTDOTNET and take an additional 30% off; you’ll get it all for just $21. The code will only work for the first thousand purchases, though, so if you want in, get a move on.

I don’t know how these folks wangled this bundle, but I’m totally in.

  1. Got it! Thanks Mir 🙂

  2. I love that there’s a Circuit City gift cert in there. Man, this is completely making me crave pizza.

  3. Even if I just use the stand alone gift certificates (papa johns, 1-800-flowers, and Shoebuy) it’s a total DEAL. Thanks so much!!!

  4. I got the $10 Papa John’s! That’s great because we rarely get to splurge on pizza, these days. And, I’m glad I could “justify” making a contribution. Donations, even to the most deserving charities, have taken a back seat to food and mortgage, unfortunately.

    Thanks, Mir.

  5. I got one too 🙂 Very cool!

  6. I thought that said wantnotordie, but then I realized it didn’t and was very disappointed. 🙂

  7. To quote Woot… In for One!

BTW I think as an exercise to amused readers like me, you should give a dissertation on the etymology of the word ‘wangled’… LOL

  8. Score! Thanks Mir!

  9. Thank you! I almost bought one this morning, but got distracted and then remember to check Wantnot. Unrelated, but great!

  10. Just a note for those who don’t know (I didn’t) – the Shoebuy gift certificate code can’t be used in conjunction with a promo code, which they almost always have. Right now it’s the Columbus Day sale and that is a better deal than using my $10 cert. It doesn’t seem right to me that you can’t use a gift certificate with a promo code. That’s like Walmart telling me I can’t use my gift card because the item I am buying is on sale. It’s just plain wrong.
