Leap into learning toys

Do you hear it? Off in the distance??

No, not sleigh bells, silly—it’s the sound of toy specials being busted out at Amazon. Ahhhhhhh. Music to my ears!

If your little one is wanting something from the LeapFrog family of learning toys this holiday season, now’s the time to buy. There’s deals on Leapsters, Tags, Didj, Clickstart, and Zippity! Be sure to read the offer you’re after; for example, the Tag systems are already marked down $10, but then there’s an additional code (LPAHW100) to get another $10 off!

And to answer the question someone will surely ask: Yes, I do think Black Friday will bring deals like this or maybe even a tiny bit better. But these ones don’t involve getting up at the crack of dawn, fighting through crowds, or finding out everything you want is already out of stock. So… you know.

  1. Hm, it appears that I cannot use both the $5 off the books, and the $10 off the reading system at the same time…

  2. I can’t get the Clickstart promo code to work at all. I have tried the codes amazon lists, both on the system alone and on the system plus games. None are working. HAYLP!

  3. The My Pal Violet code does not give $10 off as stated it gives $3 which is 20%.

  4. The Tag reading pen is SO COOL. In case anyone is on the fence and wondering if it’s really worth it. Totally worth it.

  5. I second MamaChristy – my daughter L-O-V-E-S her Tag reader! It saved our lives on our 3 day move from Texas to Colorado too…

  6. I got some awesome deals on the Tag system at my local Target. They had a price cut to bring the regular price down to $39. Then $10 Target Coupon and the $10 Tag Coupon (from their website) giving me a net price of only $19.99 for the unit which includes Cat in the Hat. Check out your store to see if you can get the same deal.
