Happy Swedish children

They’ve just taken another round of markdowns over at Hanna Andersson—which, as we all know, is Swedish for “unbearably cute”—and my purchasing finger is feeling mighty itchy.

40% off is pretty hard to resist, especially for my very favorite children’s clothing maker. (Sample conversation with myself: “Self, $28 is crazy for pajamas. Except that they’ll last for years, and they were originally $42. And I can sell ’em on eBay later for $20. But still, $28. But, c’mon, they’re Hannas.”)

Sigh. It’s hard being me.

  1. Sigh. I love those playdresses, but my daughter has decided that she will no longer wear dresses. Drat that independence.

  2. FYI, my Costco has Kirkland brand organic cotton jammies very similar to the Hannas for only $11.99. They are fantastically thick, cushy fabric with cute prints and have held up very well in the wash – minimal shrinkage and no fading. If, like me, you are a total Hanna-fiend but you can’t stomach $28 on “sale” PJs, check out Costco!
