The Target Daily Deals include a nice all-wood tool set for little ones as well as some other good deals.
The Barnes & Noble Deal of the Day is the complete series of Homicide: Life on the Street for $60. (For reference: The set is about $100 at Amazon right now.)
And over at Graveyard Mall they’re having a Thanksgiving week sale, which includes lots of “antique globe” type things, if you’re looking for those sorts of things.
Last—but not least—check out today’s Deal of the Day at Disney if you have a princess-loving little girl. They’ve got Department 56 princess treasure boxes for half price.

I looked at the tool set at Target, thinking it might be good for a toddler. Manufacturer’s Suggested Age: 10 Years and Up! Which seems rather odd. I don’t know of many 10 year olds who would play with that, but I do know of toddlers who would be thrilled.
Karen, I noticed that too. I bought it anyway for my four year old because 1) he has been begging for a new wooden tool set since most of our Melissa and Doug pieces have gone missing and 2) the the tools didn’t look very dangerous from the picture. They looked pretty similar to the M and D set with regard to safety.
