Admit it—you were just waiting for me to come tempt you with today’s 6pm.com shoe deals, making little cracks about my love of shoes and how you always have room for just one more pair. I’m predictable, I know.
But prepare to be amazed, because I’m not going to say one word about their shoes, today. Instead I’m going to say ohmygosh I just went through the sale handbags and at these prices, I can actually afford to get one of those bags I’m accustomed to just drooling over while wondering if I’ll ever win the lottery. (Answer: No, I will not. It’s hard to win when you don’t play.)
So, see, sometimes I’m unpredictable. A little. Hush up.
Oh, but the shoes! Who doesn’t need a pair of fushia paisley peep toe pumps? For $12? Or little floral sandals for $11? Particularly when its 36 degrees outside and I am wearing a scarf in my own house?
Oh my, some of those handbags are to die for, but alas they are not practical for a mother of a 5 year old and a 2 year old, who still has to haul diapers and wipes and ointment and tylenol and drinks and toys, etc, etc.
I just hit up 6pm for the first time last night, and came away with a pair of heels and three pairs of boots. I can see how it would be really, expensively, dangerously addictive. Better to not even look at the bags.
