It almost makes me want to quilt

I am not a quilter, or a crafter, or a scrapper. I only craft things which involve words or food, and everything else is just not part of my domain.

But I start poking around at fabric.com and I find myself wondering if it’s too late to learn how to sew. Because some of their stuff is just really, really cute.

Check out the clearance—there’s fabrics as low as $1.99/yard, and coupon code 2WMYP9 will give you an extra 25% off! (I spy with my little eye some Olivia the Pig fabric that made my ovaries hurt. And I don’t even have ovaries anymore. Ow.)

  1. They have other stuff, too! I came across a kit for a knitted then felted doll, the sort of thing my daughter has been begging me to make for her… AND this will give me plenty of time to get it done before her birthday. Thanks, Mir!

  2. Also, shipping is free with a $35 order; you don’t need a coupon with that, and it stacks with the 25% off.

  3. The other great thing about Fabric.com is that they use 39″ yards.

  4. I’ve bought both fabric and yarn from them, and been super happy with both.

  5. fabric.com rocks. i have ordered from them many times, for many years. always satisfied. great customer service. great prices.

btw….quilting is not hard. try it. you’ll like it. 🙂

  6. I have no sewing skills, but sometimes I feel like, if I could just afford one of those super-mega modern computerized sewing machines, I could just throw some fabric at it and it would make marvelous, “home-sewn” crafts for me! ;-D
