Stop: Friday time!

(Not quite as good as Hammer time, but pretty close after a long week.)

The Amazon Friday Sale continues to dwindle without completely disappearing. I keep hoping that one Friday it will be full to bursting with awesome bargains, but I’m starting to suspect they’re just stringing me along. Those jerks.

Nonetheless, they manage to keep me coming back for more with just a few pertinent bargains every week. Like, they have both blackberry and pomegranate Izze marked down to $20 for 24 cans. But you save shipping and 15% when you buy via Subscribe & Save, plus coupon code BEVERAG3 gives you another 15%… so the cost to your door is just $14, or $.58/can. Yes, these are smallish cans, and no, I’m not a fan of single-serving non-nutritive beverages in general… but these are the perfect size for the occasional lunchbox treat without being loaded with artificial yuck (they’re sparkling water and 100% fruit juice).

Meanwhile, the Gold Box deal today is the Panasonic Linear Vortex Nano Arc Foil Shaving System, winner of the “Longest and Most Pretentious Name for an Electric Shaver Ever” award. Aside from the ridiculous name, this is actually the highest-rated electric shaver for men on the market today. Their “retail price” of $250 is silly, of course, but it does usually sell for around $100-$130, so today’s Gold Box price of $90 is a definite deal if you’ve been looking to get one of these.

Drown your whatever-happened-to-the-good-Friday-Sales blues in $5 MP3 album downloads, or check out other daily deals around the ‘net today:

The Target Daily Deals include a cute wrap for $7.50 (hard to go wrong at that price) and an Eddie Bauer bassinet for right around $100. Don’t forget to click through this link to activate an additional $5 off of $50 coupon if you’re spending that much.

Deals today at 6pm.com include Kangaroos (love those!), Hugo Boss, Enzo Angiolini, and more.

The biggest complaint I see from folks about Graveyard Mall is that the shipping is often steep (I agree, by the way). So go shop right now and use coupon code ShipBeforeMay to get 20% off your entire order and free shipping on orders of $25+! Granted, it may take a few weeks to get to you, but it’s hard to beat the price that way. (Also, they’re currently running one of my favorite deals: 5 pounds of pens for $14. make yourself very popular with your kids’ teachers, people.)

I’ll be off volunteering at school for a while today, but hopefully later there will be some more awesome bargain love to spread around. A girl can dream, right?

  1. Izze soda is good for you. Depending on the flavor it is 1 or 2 servings of fruit! Yes, I know it is better to get your fruit intake from fruit, but as sparkley sodas go, izze is good! 🙂

  2. Oh how I wish I could find a way to justify buying this! I think I would like it and as the occasional treat for the kids it would be good… but it’s still pretty high priced. 🙁

  3. My kids love Izzes; I am okay with them at least as a substitute for soda 🙂 But they are priced better at Target (in store) than even this sale with all the coupons – if I recall correctly a 4 pack in-store is $2.19, so .55 per can.

  4. From the title, I was afraid parachute pants were on sale.

  5. I hope I’m not the only one doing a little Hammer Friday dance.

I had no idea Izze sodas were all juiceful like that. Good to know!

  6. Selling gold, it would help if your website were spelled correctly. I never click anything from anyone that does not have a dictionary handy.

And thank you pretty Mir for making me sing that song all day.

  7. Please tell the parents of my students about the pens!! This would be a great school donation. Seriously.
