Last week’s winner, this week’s contest

I need an intern. (I shouldn’t say that out loud. My husband is constantly telling me to hire an intern.) These contests have been challenging me a bit, logistically, lately. Nevertheless, that shan’t stop me from soldiering onward in my quest to clean out my office give you fun free stuff.

Last week I offered up a pair of funny books for modern moms, and the random number generator has decreed that commenter 118, Holly, is our lucky winner. Congratulations, Holly—please check your email! Thanks to Cool Mom Picks for making those prizes possible. (And for employing me, too. Just in general.)

This week I realized I’ve been hanging onto another little gem I had saved for giveaway, and it’s this: Twisted Fish, a hilariously twisted version of “Go Fish” for ages 6+ from McNeill Designs. Special cards allow players to bend the rules and go all Lord of the Flies. (Well, you don’t get to put a pig’s head on a spear, or push anyone off a cliff or anything. Maybe Lord of the Flies is a bit of an overstatement.) Anyway, it’s a fun alternative to the same ol’ boring Go Fish, I promise.

Want to win it? Of course you do! First go review the contest rules and regulations, then come on back here and leave a comment on this post by 11:59 p.m. Eastern (that’s 8:59 p.m. Pacific) on Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 to be entered. Winner to be determined by random number generation and whether or not you have any 2s.

Ready? Go!

We have little actions to go with each sea creature and then at the end he gives a large burp and says, “excuse me!” So very polite my son is.
