Saturday deals

I’d love to stay and chat, but someone is having a birthday this weekend, which means that someone is following me around with a shopping list for a taco bar for a Very Important Party, making demands about sour cream. (If you think I’m kidding, you obviously don’t have a 12-year-old. Please pray for me.)

Anyway, before I go spend this week’s paycheck at the grocery store to feed a bunch of kids who aren’t even mine, here’s a few deals to keep you busy.

It wouldn’t be Earth Day without a bunch of sales (um… what?), so check out the special up-to-40%-off savings at Drugstore.com to celebrate the day we all stop and wonder what we’re doing to our planet. Ahem. And don’t leave Fido out of the fun—you can also take 15% off and get free shipping on $60+ at PETCO using coupon code affearth, too.

Still in the market for a Nintendo DSi? Currently Amazon has the white DSi marked down to $129, even though the other colors are still $169. (White must be the least popular. But really, who cares? That’s why God made stickers and cases, am I right?)

There’s about a zillion specials and markdowns at Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us right now, and if you spend $100+ (excluding video game consoles and hardware), your order will ship for free.

The Target Daily Deals have a pop-up gazebo for half off that might be useful this summer… plus they have one of those combo stool/seat things I always want for the kitchen until I picture my son on top of the refrigerator. (Yes, he’s 10. Yes, it would still happen.) Don’t forget to clicky clicky through this link to activate an additional $5 off $50 coupon if you spend that much.

This weekend 6pm.com has—among other things—Tevas for the whole family, starting at just $13 for the kids. Score.

I should never have looked at the weekend Hot Buys at Oneida, because now I want new dishes. (Check out that Adriatic set. So pretty! But even at half off I cannot justify them. Alas. If you buy them, send me pictures. Heh.)

Eyeing something over at Coldwater Creek? Through the weekend you can use coupon code WHH7179 to take $25 off your $50+ order. It looks like they’re not offering free standard shipping on $50+ order automatically, too.

Have a most excellent Saturday, and if you have any extra sour cream, please bring it over here. Apparently someone is anticipating a shortage. (I don’t know. I’m not even going to ask.)

  1. sweet, new Tevas for me and the boy. First time I’ve actually found my size! YAY!

  2. I threw a Pancake party for my 14 year old and friends this morning. Lots of cooking of bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and pancakes, but it was fun.
