Not what I had in mind

Listen, I just don’t think a sale on kids’ clothing in honor of Mother’s Day is a very good idea. I mean, I appreciate the discounts, but how is that something for me? Does it come with chocolate? Does someone massage my feet while I place my order? I think you understand what I’m trying to say.

Nevertheless, you know I’m a sucker for markdowns at Children’s Place. Which is why I’m going to give them a pass for offering this as a Mother’s Day sale: Through May 9th, use coupon code MOMS2010 to take 20% off your $50+ order. (Ordering less than that? Use code C4A4A for 15% off any size order.)

But this is not a suitable Mother’s Day gift, even with the $4.99 sale going on. As long as we all understand that, it’s okay.

  1. We got an email from the place we get our furnace filters, advertising a Mother’s Day sale. A Mother’s Day sale on FURNACE FILTERS. Furnace filters!

  2. Very cool. Mother’s Day gift or not, I just found 5 dollar jeans for my daughter. Thanks. 🙂
