I was supposed to go home last night, and… well, it’s a long story that ends with me trying to get home this morning, instead. That means I’m (hopefully! please!) going to be in the air this morning instead of scoping out deals for you.
I apologize for the interruption in your deal-seeking needs. If Delta Airlines is any indication of how such a thing should be handled, this is the part where I stare at you blankly and shrug. Good luck! I hope you had a good trip otherwise. I ordered Daria a few weeks ago – and for a few bucks more, sniff — for my daughter’s graduation gift. She and I bonded over Daria’s snark years ago. Yes, this is a gift for me as much as for her.
I have been waiting for Daria to be released since it went off the air, so I’m so glad to finally get it (I also am too frugal to buy it at anything near full price, so this fits the bill). If you can believe it, I still have quite a few of the episodes and both movies on VHS that I taped off TV years ago. I still have to laugh because one of my nicknames in college was “Daria” because I looked quite a bit like her (down to my black boots that I got for a steal at Goodwill once day. Man, I love Goodwill.)
