I don’t think that’s how you spell it

Minus ten points for Old Navy‘s insistence on labeling their current promotion with the phrase “Wholey Moley,” because their spelling makes my head hurt.

But plus twenty points for the actual promo itself—save 30% on absolutely everything, with code ONBIG30, through June 29th. For a discount like that, I can forgive even “creative” spelling.

  1. I was trying to figure out if it was some kind of play on words, but the closest I could come up with was the sale was on the whole store? Whole-y? I don’t know — it’s definitely a stretch. But whatever. 30% is 30%.

  2. Leandra you’ve got it. It’s a play on words, because the whole site is on sale.

  3. It took me a while, too, to realize that they were referring to the “whole” store being on sale. If I have to work for it, the reference isn’t worth the trouble.
But 30% off might be worth the time.
