Two sale tips

First: If you love Eddie Bauer, even though their Ultimate Summer Sale is “officially” over—and now morphed into generic “End of Season Savings”—they’ve just taken another round of markdowns, so it’s worth checking out.

Second: If you shopped the big sale in the last couple of weeks and see that something you bought is now cheaper, call them. Eddie Bauer is great about price adjustments. I bought a bunch of stuff for my husband a couple of weeks ago and everything is cheaper now, and when I called for a price adjustment they were just as nice as could be. So now, of course, I’m thinking about placing another order. (All part of their nefarious plan, no doubt!)

  1. I just got caught up on the email in my junk mail account and found a notice from the Eddie Bauer points program that they’ve changed how points are earned, AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, the points are good for a whole year instead of one month.

Now I see this…I gotta see what they have in tall t-shirts!
