Travel with animals

I think all parents know that traveling with kids is really like hitting the road with wild animals in tow. (I should know. We are on our way back from camping right now and I really thought the kids were going to come to blows in the backseat over the bag of baby carrots. Truly, we had a great time, but I am ready for a little less family togetherness.)

Anyway, as long as traveling with kids is like having animals along, why not have some animals to pack their stuff in? The last time these animal suitcase pairs were on special at, they were very popular, and why not? Choose from penguin or tiger, both around $30 shipped, and get a rolling suitcase and a coordinating backpack suitable for all of your little animal’s traveling needs.

They’re probably not big enough to put your kids inside, but that’s probably not a good idea, anyway.

  1. Thanks Mir! I bought the ladybug bag last time and love it for my little girl. Perfect amount of room for a long weekend, even a week away from home. Now I can buy the tiger and penguin for my boys! =)

  2. Cute! I understand the temptation to bag your own offspring. Totally understand.

  3. Speaking of animal things our kids want….. my kids want pillow pets. But at $20 plus shipping, I am looking at $75-80 for three pillow pets. If you see a deal on these, let me know. I don’t know why all three want one – I can understand my 4 year old wanting one – but the 7 and 9 year olds?

  4. Re Sherri: last Christmas season, my MIL found pillow pets in a local mall. They were still $20, but at least she was saved the shipping.

The selection wasn’t as awesome either, but my daughter was still happy with the one she got.

  5. Sherri, just an FYI has Cuddlee Pet Pillows for $7.99 each, not sure of the shipping cost. My son has a Pillow Pet Panda, that he got as a birthday gift from a friend, and I think the Cuddlee looks just like the one he has.
