Club seating for your home

I may be mistaken, but I’m pretty sure that the Leather Club Chair in today’s Target Daily Deals was featured once before, and a bunch readers picked one up. Can anyone weigh in on how they liked it?

Seems hard to go wrong when you’re talking about a leather chair for $230 shipped, really. Don’t forget to activate this link after adding it to your cart to save an additional $5, too. Every little bit helps!

(While I was typing this post, my husband walked up and saw the chair picture and went, “Oooohhhh!” I am apparently not the only family member afflicted with SomethingShinyItis.)

  1. I ordered 2 of these the last time they were on sale. I think the total was $300 shipped for 2. We like them a lot and they don’t show much wear at all even though they are used a lot. The one thing that is kind of odd is that they look like they would recline but unfortunately they don’t. It has been kind of fun to watch people try to recline them and then realize that it doesn’t work. Maybe that’s mean?

  2. We ordered one, and I think the price was closer to $160 before discounts. It’s not a chair you sink down and get comfy in, but it looks really nice (so I like it, but my husband doesn’t!). The color looks more black than brown.

Also, the first chair we got was delivered in a wet, moldy box, so the chair reeked (is that a real word?). Customer service was very helpful, and sent a new chair, no questions asked. That was nice.

  3. I LOVE these chairs. Like Selena said, they aren’t super comfy and sinky, but they are good, solid chairs, and they look beautiful in my living room. My mother-in-law, who has short legs, likes them because her feet touch the ground, unlike some of the big fluffy recliners. Such a great deal.

  4. I, too ordered a set when they were wickedly cheap and I am very pleased. They have found a place in our play room in our new home so the adults have somewhere to sit while the kiddos play, and I get compliments on them all the time. Great for “occasional chairs”.

  5. I ordered one of these on the last sale too. Shipped fast, easy to assemble and it looks great in my living room! Definitely looks more black than brown, but it doesn’t clash with my brown loveseat. Comfortable enough to sit in and read with the kids, but I can’t really settle into it with a book of my own. Just not cushy enough. The kids fight over it though!
