Just to sweeten the deal

Normally I don’t complain about the shipping costs at 6pm.com because—after all—I’m usually saving so much it seems silly to be annoyed with a shipping charge. But if I didn’t have to pay it, well, I certainly wouldn’t argue.

It’s like they’re mind-readers, people. Through Sunday, shop 6pm and every order of $100+ ships for free, automatically. If you need to do one last back-to-school shop (or if you’ve been very good and can afford a pair of Marc Jacobs beauties from today’s sale), getting up to $100 should be easy. They’ve got three pages of sale backpacks right now, too, so this may be the easiest way to finish getting ready for school you’ve ever had.

  1. Thanks for the info! While I don’t like the shipping costs, I dislike even MORE the return shipping costs … which, given the fact that I’m either an 8 or 8 1/2 depending on brand/style, and I never know with my kids until they try the shoes on, I always end up incurring.

Lately, I’ve been having a lot of luck re-selling shoes on Craigslist that I don’t want to return to 6pm. If the deal was good enough for me, it’s generally good enough for someone else, and I can often add a few bucks to the selling price to offset my original shipping charges.
