Christmas came early this year

It only happens every now and then—in fact, I can only remember it happening twice before, in all the years I’ve been using them—but today is the very best day for you to try out Restaurant.com (or return to them, again).

Why? Well, how does 90% off sound to you…? Today (September 30th, 2010) only, purchase dining certificates for 90% off with coupon code WOW. That’s $25 worth of dining for just one dollar, and the excuse you’ve been wanting to schedule a date night. Or an I-don’t-have-to-cook night. Or even a yay-it’s-Wednesday night. It doesn’t matter. When you’re saving $24 on food someone else cooked for you, you can afford to be a randomly celebratory.

(Psssst! They also offer gift certificates towards Mrs. Fields online, Boca Java, and Lobstergram. Just sayin’.)

Don’t delay, because today is the only day this code will work, and then we’ll be back to the standard 60% – 80% off. You don’t want to be the chump who missed 90% off, do you?

  1. Thanks for that! Two meals out for $2 make for happy meals. (not that kind)

  2. I’m still having the same problem the ones I would like to use, they all add 18% gratuity and I have a problem with automatic gratuity, regardless of how much money I’m saving overall….but damn I’m tempted.

  3. $20 for the Sunday lunch we frequently have… but for $0.40 this time!

  4. I also got a gift certificate to ShoeBuy for $10, as a reward!! So, I spent $3.40 for $60 in Restaurants, AND got $10 off my new rainboots. WIN.

  5. I’m not generally a fan of restaurants.com (too many rules attached to coupon) but I went ahead and took advantage of this offer. We’re traveling next week and one of the places we’ll eat at was on the website and since we’ll already meet the requirements, it’s a good deal today! Thanks 🙂

  6. How do you find the Lobstergram and Mrs. Fields gift certificates? I would love to give as Xmas gifts.

  7. I never tried this before, but found a restaurant I always wanted to check out, and now can do so on the cheap! Thanks Mir!

  8. Thank you so much!!

I just got about $315 dollars worth of certificates for only $18!! Normal cost for those same certificates would have been around $150!

I purchased some of the Restaurant.com $50 gift certificates that I can use or give away later. Which is great if you don’t know what restaurants you want to go to right now!

  9. I can’t seem to get on the site… keeps giving me internal server errors. 🙁

  10. yep… I think it crashed 🙁

  11. It’s a better deal if you’re able to buy the $50 certificates. Then you’re not “over” spending $10 on it and really will only pay $2 plus gratuity.

  12. Thanks! I just paid $1.75 for $25 off a restaurant I want to try.

  13. How about that. The only participating restaurant in the non-metro part of my state is only 20 miles from my house.
