Y’all know how Murphy’s Law works, right? Murphy’s Law is why it rains when you forget your umbrella, or doesn’t if you remember it. Well. I’d just like to let you know that you have me to thank for today’s crop of Target Daily Deals. They’re just in time for the abrupt end of summer (it finally happened, in the first week of October) and chilly/rainy Fall we’re now experiencing.
I mean—I’ll be honest—I was starting to think they’d lost their touch. I haven’t seen anything worthwhile there in a couple of weeks. But today it’s all coats (really cute coats), and among them is an adorable rain jacket in either navy or black.
So feel free to thank me, because after searching for weeks for a rain coat that wasn’t “too ugly” or “too babyish” for my nearly-teen, I broke down and ordered her something off of eBay the day before yesterday. Murphy’s Law!

I have needed a rain coat for ages but have been too cheap to get one. For $20 I can finally get one which means it will never rain here again.
I got a white wool coat for me and the puffy jacket for the boy for $50! Yay!

Maybe she just wants to avoid raincoats like the plague because they are so CRINKLY! Shudder, they make me insane. 😉
