Climb into the Magic Treehouse

If you’ve got an early reader—or if you’re looking for some chapter books to donate to your favorite early-elementary classroom or charity—take a look over at Amazon, today. They’ve got two boxed Magic Treehouse sets on discount; get Books 1-4 or Books 5-8 for just $6.93 apiece. That’s less than $1.75 per book, and don’t even make me get up on my soapbox about the gift of early reading.

  1. These books are awesome – love them!!!!

  2. These are great books and a great deal! We already have them, as do the other kids I know, but someone else should definitely jump on this deal!

  3. Buy them both with the “add both to cart” button and get another $0.35 cents off… it’s not much, but it makes the books be just 1.69 each.

  4. Thanks! Just got both sets for my 1st grade son.

  5. Thanks, Mir! And Jen R!

  6. The Magic Treehouse books are officially a late second grade or early third grade reading level, but my fourth grade students still love them. I keep a big basket of these in my classroom library, and it’s almost never full; the kids have them in their desks all the time. Go for it; your children’s teachers will love them!

  7. They are wonderful books. It depends on your child’s reading level, obviously. My son read them all in the first half of 1st grade.

  8. This deal was still good today and the boxed set of 9-12 was $8.99. I just bought my nephew 12 books for Chrismas at $1.88 each. Does my geek heart proud.
