Why yes, I have found myself over shopping at LEGO this morning. Do I have “Mommy is a sucker” stamped on my forehead? I probably should.
Here’s the skinny, though: New items are on sale every day this weekend, shipping is free on $49+, and if you spend $149+ you also get 10% off.
The site is moving verrrrry sloooooowly, but some of the deals are worth it. This Baranus Bionicle, for example, is currently $20 (for comparison: $32 at Amazon). And yeah, I think it’s kind of scary, but I happen to know a little boy who will likely feel differently.
Loving some of the items in the sale section for stocking stuffers, too. Lego playing cards! Lego magnets! Fun stuff. It helps assuage my feeling of being a sucker for spending so much on bricks, too.
Careful though. I’ve been price-stalking the LEGO DUPLO fire set, and it’s cheaper at Amazon today. By $12. That said, I want the LEGO DUPLO world people set and I haven’t seen that anywhere but LEGO store!
