Spare LEGOs, at a nice price

I went ahead and got this on a Lightning Deal, yesterday, but today Amazon just has it priced at the Lightning Deal price as the regular price. (Did you follow that?) I’m only a little bitter. Anyway! Get the LEGO Ultimate Building Set (that’s over 400 pieces) for just $15.

It’s a great bucket to start the LEGO love for a just-outgrowing-Duplo kid, or just as a “sorry I vacuumed up all those bricks over the years” supplement for your established LEGO lover.

What? Stop looking at me like that.

  1. This will be the perfect “your mother wants you to have Legos, so here” present for my daughters! 🙂 Though, I am somewhat nervous about the spreading-through-the-house potential, given that the Tinkertoys are EVERYWHERE.

  2. Score! Have I said how much I love you today, Mir? 😉

  3. you rock!

  4. Thanks, I grabbed these! @Erin, in my house, the small Legos and Polly Pockets are a limited-access toy. The girls can play with them at the dining room table for a session, and when they’re done they get put back in the tub and onto a high shelf. Gotta do that with a toddler in the house.

  5. It’s also a great idea for your husband, if he teaches a writing class that does a “build something and then write how you did it so another group can build it exactly” assignment. Whoo-hoo! I’m a heroine right now. (Of course, by extension, you’re a heroine as well.) Thanks for the idea, Mir!

  6. Hmm. I kind of want to buy this for next year. … Thinking…
