Need a last-minute gift for someone, or, say, you’ve just canceled your Christmas trip because your entire family has the flu, and so you figure maybe you’ll send some food in your stead? (Not that that’s happened to anyone I know, recently. I… have something in my eye. Just a minute.)

Ahem.

Anyway: If you need a delicious breakfast gift for someone, look no further than Wolferman’s, purveyor of huge English muffins, scones, and other scrumptious gluten-laden things I cannot eat but I’m assured are really delicious. (This post is turning out to be in the key of Eeyore. I apologize.)

Order today or tomorrow and they’ll guarantee it there for Christmas, plus you can use coupon code FRSHP to ship your order for free. Search for the express breakfast gift basket for the best bang for your buck—it’s currently $19.95 (half off) and loaded with four pounds of goodies.

  1. So sorry about the canceled trip! I hope everyone’s feeling better in time for Christmas.

  2. thank you, thank you, thank you! We are in the same shoes, 3/4 of our family is sick & we were unable to travel to our extended family’s Christmas party. The express breakfast basket is just the kind of gift I was looking for.

  3. Thank you! This is perfect! 🙂

  4. aw, mir — i’m sorry.

  5. Thanks, Mir! I was looking for something to have shipped to my grandfather. He’s 95 and this is the first year that he’s not well enough to travel to visit the grandkids and great-grandkids, so I’m sending this basket for him and his friends. (I guess I’m joining the Eyore party. I’m sad about not seeing him this Christmas. So I’m planning a Jan visit.)

  6. OH I am so sorry. We had a Christmas just two years ago where we were told around 10 am on 12/24 we couldn’t leave the area. (Early labor symptoms with the twin pregnancy) We started a new family tradition of take out pizza for Christmas eve dinner that year. Lemonade from our lemons. Thank you for making our Christmas a little sweeter this year. We sent one to my in-laws and one to our selves 🙂

  7. Thanks Mir! I’m sending sending a basket to each of my husband’s aunts that I had no ideas for. It’s always hit or miss whether we will see them on Christmas or not so this solves that problem.

  8. Whoo-hoo! The perfect “thank-you” gift for my in-laws. We already have their Christmas present, but we like to make the Christmas breakfast easier, and I think this might have just done it. 😀 Thanks!

  9. OR….since I do breakfast along with Santa Christmas morning for 8-10 people, that just saved me from cooking….add butter and grape jelly, maybe some fruit and drinks, and I’m done! Sweet!

  10. (Oh, and I’m with you on the Eeyore party this Christmas, for other reasons. Here’s hoping the holidays will still be good ones, even with big changes in plans. 🙁 )

  11. Thanks Mir! one for me and my kids and one for my parents on the other side of the country. We have sick kiddo here too,,,, He is sick EVERY Christmas, all the hype and excitement just takes a toll on immunity 🙁

  12. I’m so sorry, Mir! Merry Christmas to you and yours, wherever you are.

  13. Ackkkk! I am so sorry! I am sure there is a silver lining, Pooh says to Eeyore:)

  14. Hope you all are feeling better soon! And thanks so much for the gift basket idea…. perfect for my SIL and her family. I never know what to get them!

  15. I;m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
If I try to use the Guarantee Christmas Shipping, it’s an extra $12 above and beyond the $11 stand shipping and the Frship code will only take off the $11 of the standard shipping fee….
If I leave it as standard shipping, it says it will be delivered by 12/27…um that’s too late.
    Any advice?
    Cindy

  16. Have I told you lately that I love you!! Perfect for my sister with kids and grandkids coming & going out of town Christmas weekend.

  17. Thank you! Sent one to the relatives we will be visiting in Florida, God willing and the baby’s cough doesn’t develop into something more. We’ve been sick three Christmases in a row, time for a break. Hope you and yours get well quick!

  18. Oh, man! Does that mean you’ve caught it too? I’m so sorry! 🙁

Big hugs and here’s hoping everyone is feeling better soon.

Can we blame it on the Wild Child brother? He just feels like he could handle being blamed for all sorts of things that aren’t his fault 🙂

  19. won’t work for me either – unless i want it after christmas (not). maybe it was only good yesterday? i’ve ordered before and they have fabulous stuff!

  20. They have changed their mind Mir. To get it by Christmas, they are upgrading the shipping to expedited. They are only offering free shipping for orders of $49, standard only. The basket is still $19.95, but it is doubled, plus with total. I didn’t complete my final screen as a result, even though these are great muffins
