Sometimes I think my affection for pretty shoes has gone beyond what is reasonable, but then other times I remind myself that I am 1) not spending the kids’ college funds, 2) doing more drooling than spending, and 3) not drowning my sorrows in drugs or alcohol, so comparatively, this is a much better idea. (Also: much prettier! I hear drugs rot your teeth.)
This is all preface to saying that today I feel sick and yucky, but at least Amazon has already started their President’s Day Shoe Sale, and that and a nice cup of tea are going to get me through the morning. I think that’s okay.
Hey thanks! I needed a pair of casual-with-jeans sneakers as I got rid of a bunch of old stuff in my post-Christmas cleanout. I don’t like/want to wear my gym or trail running shoes for other purposes. So I just got a way cute pair of Adidas sneaks for bummin’ around.
I had JUST said to my husband earlier this week that I was actively looking for a pair. And now! It’s done! Yay Mir!

Thanks to you, my life is going to be SO much easier. It’s certainly worth under $15 to me for an extra pair of Skechers we can keep in my son’s cubby at school. No more to-ing and fro-ing of shoes on the days he wears boots. (And I bought two pairs for next year, too!)

I just bought 4 pairs of UMI shoes for about $18 a pair. They are usually way too expensive and are the only brand that fit my son well. You are the prettiest Mir! Thank you.
