i’m hoping this will hold my kindergartner off a bit longer — she’s been BEGGING to read the HP books for almost 2 years now. my husband and i are huge HP fans, but we both think she’s a smidge young and too easily freaked out for the series just yet. our argument has been, “when you can read them yourself, we’ll talk.” well, she came up to me with book one about two months ago, and started reading the first paragraph aloud with little trouble. d’oh! maybe this will buy me some more time and not scare the pants off of her!
