Julianna Baggott has a book for you

Julianna Baggott is the author of seventeen books, which means that just pondering that makes me need a nap. You may have already read something by her, but not realized it—she also writes under the names Bridget Asher and N.E. Bode (and if you have a middle-grade kid, go buy the N.E. Bode books immediately). As you might imagine, she’s insanely busy as well as crazy talented.

But because we have a friend in common, the generous Ms. Baggott came to me with this largesse: Five lucky Want Not readers are going to win free copies of her latest Bridget Asher book, The Provence Cure for the Brokenhearted. (Not only that, she sent my daughter a signed book, too, which sent my kiddo into paroxysms of nerdly joy.)

Library Journal said of The Provence Cure: “Readers who enjoy … Lolly Winston’s Good Grief and Jane Green’s The Beach House or travel-induced transformation books like Frances Mayes’s Under the Tuscan Sun and Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat, Pray, Love will find common themes … and become quickly invested in the lives of the deftly drawn characters.” I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a perfect put-your-feet-up-and-relax read to me.
