Bag a Britax

Have you been waiting for a great deal on a Britax car seat? Today may be your lucky day—Diapers.com is having a Britax Flash Sale (you may have to scroll down on the main splash page to see the graphic/link for it). Everything’s 20% – 25% off, which is a substantial discount when you’re talking about a brand that almost never gets marked down.

Looks like coupon code SLICKWIPES will take your total down another 15%, too, making this an even better deal. [Edited to add: Looks like you need to be a new customer to use this code.]

Keep in mind that, no, you do not have to buy a $200+ car seat to keep your kid safe. But these are consistently rated the safest by places like Consumer Reports, and everyone I know who has one loves it. Though I guess once you’ve spent that kind of money, you’re going to make yourself love it, regardless. Heh.

  1. Having used a lot of different car seats, the ease of use and ease of install on the britax seats are well worth the $200+ price tag. Plus, they have some of the highest weight/height limits on the market, so you’ll get more use out of them than some of the cheaper seats.

  2. We just bought the new Britax Marathon from Amazon, and it is definitely worth it. We also have the previous Marathon model, and this one is a great upgrade. They’ve engineered it so you can adjust the harness and remove the cover without undoing or rethreading the straps.

We’re moving our second child out of the infant carrier, so I’m definitely doing this deal for our second car.

  3. FYI – code only works if this is your first order at diapers.com 🙁

  4. Sucked it up and spent the $ on 2 Britax Decathalons when our son moved from the infant seat. I searched and searched on the web for info and all of the reviews, ratings, etc. always pointed to Britax. I am so happy that we bought them! At 2 1/2 and a ridiculous height for his age he still fits just fine and is perfectly comfortable. Well worth the $! Oh, I did get a great deal on them at albeebaby.com – they have a sale a couple of times a year!
