Look; I appreciate a good toaster oven as much as the next person. It’s a handy little device. And it’s not that I don’t think that this Black and Decker 4-slice toaster oven isn’t a great deal at just $20, because it is. Good reviews, too.
It’s just that—c’mon, Amazon—slapping the “Kitchen, Home & Garden Gifts for Dad” banner on the page seems a bit much to me. “Dad, I love you so much, I felt I could best express that through… toast.” Really? I hope you love your dad a little more than that. If you want a toaster oven, by all means, go ahead. But don’t call it a Father’s Day gift.
I mean, unless your dad really loves toast.
Ah, amazon and silly pricing. It’s already at $37.
It shows up priced at $26.02 for me, but with $9.99 shipping that isn’t too appealing.
I really think my husband would be excited by a toaster oven for Father’s Day. He got me a waffle iron for my 30th birthday. Or maybe it was a waffle iron for our anniversary and a Wii Fit for my birthday.
