I don’t know what’s going on there, lately, but I’m not arguing—once again, Children’s Place is offering free shipping all day, on every order. It’s for today only, but it seems like they’re doing this sort of thing more and more often.

If you’ve ever ordered from them before, check your email; they’re mailing out individual “mystery codes” for additional savings, for up to 50% off. If you don’t have a code, use H9D2011 for an additional 15% off, anyway.

This was handy for me, because the last time they did this I bought my kid some new shorts in size 10-12 (which I thought was his size). They arrived and they’re so gigantic, they’re actually even too big for his 13-year-old sister. I tried again today with the 7-8s, so hopefully that’ll work a little better. (Thank goodness the shorts are only $4.)
