I always go back to Lands’ End

Sometimes it takes me a little while, but sooner or later I’m always lured back over to Lands’ End by the siren song of the Overstocks. (That and the quality, of course. Do your kids wear school uniforms? Shop Lands’ End. You’ll pay more but the stuff you buy will last and last. My daughter wore a couple of LE polos for two years and has now passed them down to her brother, whereas every other brand seems to disintegrate after a year of use. Heh.)

Anyway, if you’re shopping Lands’ End today or tomorrow, let me help: Use coupon code MJ11 with PIN 4423 to get $10 off $50+ and free shipping on your order. Every little bit helps, but that should actually help quite a lot. But don’t delay—it expires tomorrow.

  1. I love Land’s End too, esp for swimsuits!

  2. Woo-hoo! Backpack and lunchbox ordered for mah baybee who is starting kindy in the fall. And new lunchboxes for the other two (mean Mom makes them use their backpacks for a couple years)

  3. We’ve been customers of LE since they first started–way back when their main claim to fame was their nearly indestructable fully guaranteed duffle bags. We still have some that we bought about 25 years ago & they are just fine! They still have a money-back guarantee & the quality is better than many places. I think they get their ideas from LLBean, but their prices are a bit lower than Bean.

As you say, the really great bargains are in the Overstocks. I must have about 8 2-piece swimsuits that I bought piece by piece for very little money. They are great quality & give me all kinds of mix-n-match options.

I don’t care for their shoes, but my feet need a good arch support. Their khakis are pretty good and their collared mesh shirts last forever! Great for uniforms, as you say, when you’ll be passing them down to more than one kid. Also love their squall jackets–again, they last forever.

Their t-shirts do not last as long as other items, but what can you expect from a summer tee?
