Attention scrappers: Get your Cricut on

Listen; the only scrapbooking I’ve ever done consists of having been dragged to one of those home parties, spending some money on a kit after I’d had a couple of glasses of wine, and ever since then, wondering where I misplaced my kids’ baby books. This is to say: I am not a scapper. I consider it a good day if I remember to get dressed. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t understand that scrapbooking is something lots of people enjoy, and are probably good at. Just, you know, not me personally.

Amazon currently has the Cricut 29-0001 Personal Electronic Cutting Machine on sale for about $100 shipped. That seems like a lot to me (particularly as I have no idea why it’s so wonderful, other than that scrapping-types seem to love it). But look! Today Tanga has the same machine available, refurbished, for just $60 shipped. That’s a whole lot more economical, even if it makes you a sandwich while you’re working.

It doesn’t, though. I mean, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t. (If it did, I’d probably buy one.)

  1. If you have the right cartridge for it…….it could make a sandwich albeit non-edible. LOL

  2. Oh i’m so tempted. Have been thinking about one of these for my mom for Christmas, she needs a hobby.

  3. Awesome. Dear wife had proposed a Cricut as a shared gift for our three daughters. Here’s Want Not, paranormal psychic link fully operational, delivering the goods.
