I have to tell you, my trip was so much fun, but I was ready to come home when the time came. That is… I was, until I actually got here. I love my family more than anything—you know this—but my calm, relaxed reentry into normal life included a to-do list that was about three pages long. And nothing says “Welcome home!” like the trifecta I greeted: Everyone needed a haircut, there was no food in the house, and we’re almost out of dog food.
Groceries and haircuts I took care of yesterday, but you know Licorice eats that expensive grain-free food and I wasn’t finding a deal on it anywhere, so I kind of hemmed and hawed and set it aside as a task for later this week. And then this morning I got up to a Groupon for PetFoodDirect, so now I’m pretty much all caught up on my chores. (Hahahahaha! Little humor, there. I’ll be doing laundry today in-between crying about how far behind I am on work.)
Do go check out PetFoodDirect before you buy to make sure they have what you need at a price you’re willing to pay. Me, I find their prices are good but their shipping kills me, and the Groupon (for me) is pretty much giving me free shipping, so I’m good with that. But check before you buy.
Yes, I was pretty happy to see the PetFoodDirect groupon too. I also have a spoiled, specialty food eating dog.
